How to Handle Your Candle

We emphasis the importance of our customers knowing how to enjoy our candles responsibly. Please refer to our 'Candle Care & Safety' guide below.

Importance of First Burn

When lighting your Dione Home candle for the first time, it is important to reach a full 'melt pool'. This is because we want to avoid any tunnelling effects that can occur. Ordinarily, we suggest to limit burn cycles to a maximum of 4 hours, however, if necessary, you may increase this by 1 hour to achieve the desired 'melt pool'. (Never leave burning candle unattended).

Burn Cycles

Dione Home soy candles should not exceed a burn cycle of more than 4 hours. This is to avoid overheating of your glass vessel and to ensure wicks don't form large carbon balls. It is important to trim your wicks to a 1/4 inch before each burn cycle and do not leave your candle unattended while burning.

Discontinuing the Use of Your Candle

Please discontinue the use of your Dione Home candle when there is 1cm of wax remaining in the vessel. We ask this to avoid any risk of overheating and breakage.
